FAQs
Yes, The McCormick Family Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.
At this time, the Foundation is solely supported by the McCormick Family.
Currently, the Foundation only makes monetary contributions; but in the future, it is our goal to include investments.
Donations are not made to individuals but rather to charitable organizations or direct programs that offer opportunities to develop and enrich the life of an individual.
The Foundation chooses to support charitable organizations that share in our mission to be a positive influence on the lives of children.
We do not accept unsolicited requests for funding; however, charities are invited to submit a letter of introduction describing itself, its mission, and how its programs align with our mission statement.
The letter will be reviewed and if determined, the Foundation may request additional information and a funding proposal to consider. Presently, there is no application process or deadline.
Decisions to support a charitable organization are made solely at the discretion of our Board.
The McCormick Family Foundation supports many worthwhile charitable organizations. All organizations which we choose to support feature programs that align with our mission and have met our criteria of demonstrating responsible and efficient use of donated funds.
A core program is where the Foundation has developed a deep long standing relationship and has an active advisory role or formal board level involvement.
