Our History

The McCormick Family Foundation was established in February 2000 by its founders Genine and Michael McCormick.

The initial purpose of the Foundation was to formally organize their history of philanthropy and community involvement.  At it’s inception, the Foundation supported a wide spectrum of worthwhile charities. Ultimately we refined our mission and focused our efforts on helping children by supporting organizations that enrich and enhance a child’s life.

We believe the slightest positive influence has the potential to change a child’s life.

It is our belief that our efforts will create opportunities for children to establish and pursue elevated goals.

It is our hope that through our example, children will recognize the impact of our mission and become socially responsible, creating a virtuous circle where even the smallest gesture can have a lasting positive influence on another individual’s life.
